bjago01 Judging by leaked information, it looks like 3 episodes will have a modern-day Earth setting, 4 will have Past Earth settings, and 4 will take place in the future. The timeframe of the final two episodes is anyone's guess. Anyway, it looks like we'll have a nice variety this year.

you're kidding right? filming in cardiff is cheaper than filming anywhere else in Wales? why not film in Newport? 12 miles away! or do what the old series did and find a bloody gravel quarry (and believe me there are a few of them in Wales) and say that this is a universe of antimatter! I love Wales, but i would rather see a featureless gravel quarry than Cardiff or a London council estate again. maybe in this scene they say that this is Belgium in the year 2555 or something,.

Matt Smith doesn't look bad at all, I think he's going to be a bit like Peter Davison, a great performance but everyone dislikes him because he came after a really good and famous doctor.
