Takes control. This ball is blown up with air-no real skin on it. I can no longer get it after 5 yrs & a 100 balls later. She will puncture one in 2-3 weeks (or sooner). I think Sportogo has an 8 b ball that is much heavier that my friend uses. Since she was trained on this she will not go for the heavier ball. The heavier skin you have to watch/make sure they don't break a tooth. However, this ball is repairable. Once the light balls are gone & my male isn't showing I''ll train him on it.

She usually punctures one after a week or two. She's pretty good about "no bite" and "get out", but sometimes....especially if I have it filled to tight. My other Bouvier can't play with it because he'll do it in one session.

They're fun. WEars her out! I found my first one at Costco. I then started ordering them from the manufacturer in NJ. Unfortunately they don't sell them anymore. You can get a much heavier version (8 lbs) but sturdier from sports to go, I think. I still have maybe 10 left.
