i had the pleasure of seeing this game. This was my first basketball game ever. I think i might still have a cup somewhere with the score written on it. Awesome experience and thanks for posting!

It's simple, the '96 UK team was the greatest college team that has ever been assembled. As was said earlier, almost the ENTIRE squad made an NBA roster after they left UK. Crazy.

To be honest, there 1993 team in the tournament was off the muthafucking hook, Im still shocked that they lost to Michigan in the 1993 Final Four. I loved Bernadette Locke as an assistant she was sweet sugar.

Not really, facts are harder to deal with. I love the DDM OFFENSE It's creative and fun, however free throw shooting is a fundamental practice. The fact is Calipari can recruit with the best of them, they will be good next year , great in two or three.

I don't know about the free throws, I guess we'll see. I'm just glad to see the cats have their swagger back. Can't wait till next season to start.
P.S. 1996 UK Wildcats would have beat the frickin' Clippers. Basically the entire roster saw time in the NBA and most of them first rounders. 1997 they came within a jumpshot of a back to back, and in 1998 they won it all again. But 1996 was the best ever.
