  • @CarnivalBox I dont hear any "false tones" :S

  • @meganbronwen the tone she sings when she sings the word "live" at 0:13 is out of tune and, therefore, false.

  • @CarnivalBox No she really isnt singing out of tune she goes high on that note so thats why u think she is out of tune but its not : ) even if she did though n she does do it happens doesnt it

  • I though it's gonna be horrible live, but it's just beautiful.

  • @CarnivalBox Um if you think that I interpreted that as bullying then YOU are sensitive. no one is crying about this LOL.... And Martyr??? LOL!!!!!! You are a silly person. All I was saying is that its funny how people are....You watch an incredible artist performing and the only thing you comment is about her mistake? That's all...don't throw yourself off a bridge. Looks like you take what other people say a little too seriously. its just a comment sweetie <3

  • @NessaStar10 Ok seriously, it's not my fault she sang a note out of tune? Don't get me wrong I love Florence and maybe to some that would be an unnecessary comment, but for me it wasn't. I never said anything about anyone being perfect, just stop that pathetic martyr thing because it's not working. I'm not saying she's bad because she made a mistake, I'm just pointing it out for christ sake stop being so fucking sensitive it's not I'm bullying you or anything, I don't get why you would even care

  • @CarnivalBox this is a joke right? Are we really so focused on negatives that we're picking out the ONE note she may have sang out of tune? I don't think anyone on this thread can even come CLOSE to what Florence can do with voice. If she sang a bad note, I don't think it really matters. No one is perfect.

  • What kind of camera did you use?

  • @CarnivalBox Nobody's perfect and it makes each of performance so unique.

  • somehow the live version kinda lacks that feel of impending malevolence/sinister vehemence i so loved on the album version...

    still lovely none the less.

  • @CarnivalBox agreed with @meganbronwen She sings so high you'd think it's false, but i's just her voice... :s It's great

  • My song teacher once told me that the most important thing when you sing is to make other people feel what you're singing about, and be moved by your voice and the meaning of the song. And it doesn't matter if you don't hit the right tones. Flo is such a talented singer and I love her voice so much, but what I love even more, is the way she makes me feel with her music. The way she makes me cry by singing words and when that feeling in her voice touches my heart. That's what makes a good singer.

  • @meganbronwen there was a split second between "live" and "or" where she slightly, maybe even purposely, sings a different pitch than on the record. I didn't hear it at first, but people who are trained in jazz and choral music can hear differences more easily. It was very minor, and it didn't sound bad, so it's really not a huge deal. Especially when Florence doesn't rely on background tracks to aid her when she sings. By the way "false tone" isn't a proper term. You're either sharp or flat.
