@FilmRecall He's probably my favorite actor at the moment for sure. But I think Brad Pitt should win. Yeah I can see that too, don't get me wrong Meryl Streep is amazing but it's kinda ridiculous how many times she's nominated even if the movie is meh. Me too. It would do so much for her career, whereas giving it too a past winner doesn't.

@TheBSKILL Yeah, Levitt is good enough that he'll have another knockout performance in the future. I can see the Oscar going to Meryl Streep since the academy loves her. Mara really deserves this though and I hope they step out and give it to her.

Tilda Swinton was definitely robbed but she's won already even if it was for her most bland performance; Michael fassbender and Drive being snubbed was terrible. The oscars went for sentimentality over reality this year obviously.The Tree of life was pretentious but it was done in earnest, it wasnt manipulative crap like EX&IC. i hope demian bichir enjoys his few moments of the spotlight; Fassbender will win someday, for the wrong film.

I agree with all the snubs people have been talking about (Drive, TGWTDT, Harry Potter) and I'd add that Another Earth was unfairly ignored.
