Babe At ATN7 Doesn't Forecast Roscoe's Glow Worm !

While lying in bed listening to some nice relaxing weekend talk back radio, suddenly my ears pricked a little more than they were when 2GB's Weekend Graveyard Broadcaster got the odd call regarding strange lights in the sky, which reminded me of certain footage on my Foxtel IQ box. { for those in The UK that's the equivalent, more or less to your Sky Digital } Thought I would give Frank Crook a call & mention a very strange phenomena spotted on Thursday 27th.September 2007 right at the end of the six o'clock seven news broadcast with Ian Ross.
One really hopes that The Seven Network will sign up with Foxtel to re transmit their digital signal instead of the current inferior crusty old analogue one ! After The Ten Network finally got digitized on Foxtel we find Seven are the only free to air channel holding out, which is a pity & shows their utter contempt for the most important people in the broadcasting equation; The Viewers !
I have even noticed when archiving Seven's footage to file via Foxtel IQ the low grade video one has to suffer !
Moving on to ATN7's current weather babe, who is named Sarah Groen ex Beyond Tomorrow bird etc., seems she has been type cast predicting things, although not so in this case ! Lol. Reckon a few punters kicking back on their sofas would have the odd glowing worm when viewing the weather though !
Regarding my talk back call with Frank, it's good to see, or rather hear 2GB have dramatically improved their stream as up to recently their bitrate was constantly dropping to around 8 kbps, which resulted in telephonic sounding audio all through their programs, now they seem to be giving the web listeners around 32 to 20 kbps, lovely audio, keep it up lads !
Further to the arrogance & disregard to those who keep the likes of The Seven Network in employment, as I mentioned namely the punters, it really angers chaps like me who strive for the best quality sound & vision for archival purposes in the twenty first century that a TV outfit can not sort out petty disputes & rivalries that inconvenience their bread & butter ! Hope they sort it soon so women like Ms.Groen can be immortalized in the same superior calibre as others on digital systems such as Foxtel !

It looks like a plane to me. The glow seen is the floodlight used for landing & takeoff. You can also see a wing light blinking. As for Ms. Groen, she is all class. The #1 reason to watch 7 News in Sydney.

Your lucky. In some parts of Brisbane (including where I live) you can only get Foxtel by satellite and there is no analogue re-transmissions of Seven programming. Seven should wake up before any analogue switch-off and sign with Foxtel. Otherwise 7 may lose a whole lot of viewers during the digital switchover.
