  • The pipe band i am in played with them in Bressuire, France this year there so fun to play with :)

  • @bloobear1 Agreed! But hot men in kilts doesn't hurt either!

  • @bloobear1 Think you'll find that traditionally, many Highlanders charged naked at the enemy so as not to gtet the cloth torn and bloodied while in battle!

  • @JayKay62969 There's more to Scotlamd than that :-) A wee country that has given the World so very much out of all proporion to our small size!

  • @BigBadBill2323 The philabeg was used for battle

  • whoar

  • this is what we need more of

  • The man with the long, dark hair is soooooo sexy! & Very very great traditional music <3

  • "The Gael" from the last of the Mohicons..Gael, an ancient Scottish tribe.

Looks and sounds like ALBANNACH to me with Donnie on the pipes. No Bodran? Couple of different people in the band here.

U.S.A. piper here and a fan of Albannach b

    odran

  • nice song

  • A modern kilt is a "small" kilt, and the historical one like these are "big" kilts, in gaellic philibeg(small kilt) or philamhor (big).

It is suggested that the small kilt was simply a "cut-off" version, used originally in a smithy, as it would be less dangerous to the wearer.

  • No they arent kilts. they.. are plaids. there is a difference.

  • yes they are kilts

  • Actually, are those considered kilts? Maybe someone here can tell me?

  • Long-haired, muscular men in kilts, dancing around and banging on drums. Scotland sounds like heaven to me!

  • looks as if the nearest one is trying to dislodge a piece of shite
