I'm working on a game for the Facebook platform inspired by Uplink (http://www.introversion.co.uk/uplink/).
In this demo you will see a lot of the same features you would in the full game of Uplink. My plan was to make the interface resemble it as best as I could. The game play will be different and I don't know how it will exactly be right now. There are a lot of challenges still but I wanted to get some early feed back since I'm only 20 days into development right now.

Well, games revolve around competition/strategy, so the storyline/objectives can't be linear since anyone with more experience or faster skills/tech will immediately dominate.

It is just a game that runs on your PC. The demo is still available and I think you can still purchase the full version.

You'll have to go to the Introversion website to download the demo. You can search Google for Uplink which should take you to a page with a link to the demo.

I also started programming events in the GUI so that when you run software (file copier) it responds to what you click.
