Commodore paved the way for the computers we have today. Apple can make all the claims they want but the design of todays computers including architecture is a result of Commodore's work!

Nice find there! Commodore 64 is one of the best 8-bit systems out there. I recommend getting a joystick, Wico joysticks being the best.

That Zork II and Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy is worth money man!!! In fact disk based C6 games are worth a pretty penny on ebay! :) You may find there are disks in those books and those 'backup' disks, have games on them!
