@ianboytik Omg... I know ur comment is old and I know a LOOOOOt of people have told you the same thing as I am about to tell you right now. Glacier calving is NOT the straight effects of global warming. It happens every year to every glacier. With the season changes the temperature rises and the glaciers simply melt. And ice simply falls off!
I live in Iceland, close to europes largest glacier, and you can believe me on this one. has happened every spring for a veeery long time :)

I went on the Holland America - Osterdam in alaska, and saw glaciers falling similar to this. It is truly incredible. 5/5
