@LouieArrighi Yes, if Bernie Sanders runs as an independent or primary challenger, I will vote for him. But I very much doubt that he will. He knows the deck is completely stacked against him.

@MarmaladeINFP It isn't the rich against the poor or workers against owners or Republicans against Democrats. The real conflict is between American workers & business owners of both parties against transnational corporations and the global plutocracy.

@LouieArrighi The crazy part is that this is even a discussion. There isn't even an issue to be discussed. Right-wingers aren't interested in looking at facts & practical results. It's all about rhetoric & power for them. This is a complete non-issue for most Americans, workers & business owners alike. Just look at the polls. Even most Republican voters & rich people are for basic govt functions such as regulation & are for using tax money to promote a more fair society.

@whedonfreak976 right on Mike. freedom is a term dummies are convinced is some sort of anti-government agenda. it just allows politicians to sell off our public resources. when our water is more expensive than Coca-Cola, people will wake up. other than that, we live among a bunch of idiots.
There is a simple issue many on the right don't understand. There is always protectionism and regulation. The question is: Do the economic policies protect local businesses or transnational corporations? Do regulations help small businesses or big biz? Do free trade agreements free up the playing field so that workers, entrepreneurs, small businesses and family farms can compete fairly or free the plutocratic ownership class from fair competition?

@MarmaladeINFP Repubs always say regulations hurt small businesses. I still can't figure that out as a former small business owner. free trade hurts small business while big businesses thrive and undercut. I can't see a small business producing in China.

If low taxes created jobs then the bush tax cuts would've prevented the recession and the high unemployent we have now.
