@eastofakron I've heard horror stories of their low intelligence, but my Katahdin sheep are fairly intelligent. If there is any change in the color or form of terrain, especially mud and dirt, they will approach it cautiously. Cows normally walk through almost anything without a second thought. In actual intelligence tests, hogs scored the highest of any farm animal, 10th in the spectrum of all animals, including dogs. And 6 of the top 10 were primates!
