I was thrilled when the Dodgers finally called up Mitch Jones. So far in AAA this year, he hit 21 HR in only 192 AB. In looking at his minor league stats the past 9 years, I'm shocked he never made it up to the majors. He hit 39 HR and knocked in 97 RBI in 2004.
The Dodgers should definitely keep this guy on their roster. He'll provide a great power bat off the bench. Like Olmedo Saenz minus the 300 lbs.

This guy had a heck of a spring for the Dodgers but there was no where to put him in the outfield.......congrats to Mitch......nice post
