V5 - Underbite Jaw Surgery - Day 2 - Post-Op

Date of surgery was rescheduled to this month (not 12/5 as listed on video)... so here goes my first update :) 6 weeks without chewing... and 6-8 months until these braces come off

hi tara! thanks for updating us! i'm glad u are back and everything is okay. i'm just wondering, did u have top and bottom surgery or just bottom? lmk.. and hang in there!! :)

@yerathy - both... top moved 2mm forward and 1- 2mm to the right ... back moved 4 mm back and 4 mm to my right... i'll ask for the specifics again because i was pretty drugged when i spoke to the doc this morning :/

Omg! I knew you were Hmong! I'm Hmong too! I also have an underbite but am too scare to have surgery. :( I'm happy that the surgery turned out good for you! You're many steps closer!! Cannot wait to see the end results!!
