A sleep positioner helps solve flat head before it begins, this means u can rotate baby from side to back to the other side thus preventing flat head from developing. I used it for my son and it improved his head shape immensely, i wish i had used one for my daughter as she ended up with a flat spot which can still be seen when you look at her with wet hair, she is 3, i doubt it will get any better now :(
