Jim Willing doesn't think so. Check out his computer collection here:

Video provided by oldskool.org. Was this on the SciFi channel?

Also, get a load of that Apple II GS in the beginning, that's the Steve Wozniak signature edition!

  • Whoever gave this a "1" rating before obviously knows not how to use a computer unless it has a fancy GUI, needs 3GB of RAM to run properly, and every kind of eye-candy possible. Jim Willing has it right.

  • Right on, man. :)

  • Its obsolete when apple tells you it is, period. Apple just drops the support so quick, its terrible!

  • I tell people the same thing all day long although I could sell them a new one just as easily but I hate the new machines and the cheap low cost high profit crap from China. I have a client that is a law firm that still uses DOS and Windows for Workgroups 3.11 - Wordperfect for DOS - all works just fine and we found a source of unused sealed floppies so they are good for another 10 years at least. They run it on half a dozen IBM 5170 AT machines (286 platform) just for documents

  • Agreed. I have an old Mac LC that I use for light Raytracing and running old games, and it's working fine for me.

  • Amiga forever. :)
