If Brutal TIBETAN GIE is, 1.2 million Tibetans Killed and more than 6,000 monasteries were razed, this was happen after 1959, who did this? & Today, they have across a Tibetan family that has not had at least one member imprisoned or killed by the Chinese regime. I think u don't knon wat Paradise & Hell. TIBET Today is Hell on this Earth.

OK, you are right about Mao getting the people to melt down metal objects to try to make steel, and none of them knew what they were doing.

But you are wrong about ignoring agriculture. Those sent to the countryside, included Maos own children, where thay all worked in agriculture to grow food, and try to transport it to the cities.

2 big problems were the railroads had bee destroyed in the war, and hoarding, which was the real cause of the famines.

Reasearch hoarding, you will see.

Yes, during those times. Mao blamed famines on natural disasters when there were no natural calamities.he had the whole china engaged in making steel campaign, ignoring agriculture, and ppl used to melt all steel appliances at home and cut down trees like crazy to keep furnaces going for melting steel appliances. the govt. printed in the papers in the cities that not one person died, when everyone was sent to the countryside they came to know that millions had died.read jung chang's wild swans

First, the census done in the past, before Tibet became a big political issue. There was no reason for the Chinese to lie to themselves about the census. In fact, the census was the pride of Mao, who actually did care about the poor in the countryside. The Chinese gov did not dictate a false census, nor did they release false census information.

well, maybe its not genocide but everyone knows that millions died in the mao and cultural revolution era in tibet and in mainland china.also, how could census recording be unbiased when propaganda dictates such govt. recordings?if ppl dont have the right today to vote and to protest against the govt, or even watch youtube today in 2009, do you think that in 1940s,50's 60's that the govt. would tell the world how many died because of all those failed policies and campaigns?
