Yes, see the video on long division - which isn't the traditional method but this one.

The method works for any number of digits - double check each stage - it's usually tables that let people down. If it still doesn't work post what you've done and i'll try to spot the error

Okay i have a question can you do a question such as um..
237/ 22
K So 22 goes into 23 ...once with 1 remainder ... but when you bring your remainder over to the 7 .... 22 wil not go into 17 so what do you do now ... just put 0?
Can you post a question something like this one so i can just see how you do it .. and go right into the change over to decimals... like can you go to the tenths place after the decimal?

@MissHollaHollaHolla Sorry about the delay in replying but yes you put a zero and then remainder 17. To continue put a decimal and carry the 17 to become 170 - So the next bit to work out is how many 22 go into 170 and continue until you have an answer as accurate as you need.

My younger brother once told me that I can't understand math because with how my mind works I'm will always over think what ever problem comes my way. This video helps proves him right. I've been stuck on a work sheet for an hour because I was over thinking things again. I wish someone would make a video on how to now over think things.

@trulyst - I'm sorry this video doesn't help. You are not alone in finding Maths difficult and if your mind works in a different way this can create problems that aren't eay to overcome. I would encourage you to ask a professional e.g. teacher or specialist to go through things with you - explain to them how you are thinking. Remember just because you think through problems differently doesn't mean you can't do them - I truly hope that you find a way that works for you - best wishes PS
