  • Really helpful video thanks! I have a question: I have a liner machine (two 10 wrap coils, 155g) and can't currently afford any more equipment. Is it possible for me to set my shader machine up to do lining, or will this damage it beyond all repair? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks.

  • @FolkFriendUK Generally speaking any machine can be tuned to lining or shading. Some machines are better suited setup one way because of the frame geometry. For example, a shader uses longer front springs so you would want a machine with a top binidng post position that can accomodate that. I wouldn't be able to help you without looking at your machine. Shoot us an email, can be found on our website. We don't check the youtube comments that much.

  • @hildbrandttattoo how far does the needle need to stick out before steppin on the power pedal?

  • @edgarsanchez1904 Please email our support email found on the upper right corner of our website.

  • does it matter how many rubberbands to get quality and friction?

  • @edgarsanchez1904: General rule of thumb is to use only enough tension on the needle to keep it in the right place.

  • @HildbrandtTattoo Hello! Thanks very much for your reply. In the end I decided it was safer to buy a proper liner machine and am not just waiting for my green soap. (Luckily enough I've got the use of someone else's autoclave so haven't had to shell out for one of those!). Anyway, thanks very much for your help and I'll get on and have a look at your site!

  • Is that Exploited or Dr. Know in the background?

  • it'd be nice if the zoom if working:)

  • what was the tool in the hand ...325 gramms
