Tribute to Maila Nurmi who created and portrayed the world's first horror host, Vampira, in 1954. The footage is taken from the Ed Wood's PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. Maila left this world to embark on new adventures on 10th January 2008.

She used to scare the HELL outta me when i was a kid, just by walkin' around like that with that look on her face, and holding her arms like that. And those long fingers. And yet she was a knockout...so beautiful. I wanted to kiss her but i was scared she'd kill me afterwards!!!!! Maybe if i could just sneak up behind her, kiss her and then haul ass,i'd survive...but i was to scared!!!

@beLIEvefrmMM It's a stock music track from the mid-1950s, titled "Love Story theme", by composer Trevor Duncan. A variant recording of the theme is used on the soundtrack of "Plan 9 from Outer Space". Another of Trevor Duncan's stock music tracks available at that time for use in movies and television was "Grip of the Law theme", which is in fact the music from the "Plan 9" opening titles.
