Cats learn a great deal from the humans who care for them. Tool use is one of those things.
In fact, I know of one (now unfortunately deceased) cat whose moma read it bedtime stories when it was a kitten. What she didn't know! Somehow, the cat got tuned into the concept of symbolic language. It reached the point where it actually spoke in simple sentences, used word order to indicate parts of speech and combined words, using proper grammar, in ways that it had not been previously exposed to.

People can always find something to criticize. I have seen sinks shaped that way in other people's bathrooms before, it's supposed to be a seashell motif, nothing unusual about it. Besides the video is not about the design of the sink or the bathroom, it was put out here to watch the cat.
