The name Antilles could make you think of a peacefull sunset on a quiet sea , but the parisian trio is more like the ideal soundtrack for some pagan ceremony on a burning island populated by tropical diseases. Composed by two members of Sister Iodine (Lionel Fernandez et Erik Minkkinen) and a dissident of Berg Sans Nipple (Lori Sean Berg, here on drums) , this loud an apocalyptic combines volupt...ious noise walls and transcendant rythms. Based on experimentaion with a great part of improvisation the trio develops hypnotic atmospheres tainted with nowave and krautrock propulsing feedbacks outerspace. It's an intense psychic and physical exeperience.

Secret bien gardé au sein de la communauté underground française, Antilles est la rencontre de trois musiciens bien connus pour leurs multiples projets. Erik Minkkinen au clavier (Sister Iodine, Noyade...), Lionel Fernandez à la guitare (Sister Iodine...) et Jerome Berg à la batterie (The Berg Sans Nipple) distillent une psyché noise extatique et primale. Bercés par les percussions assassines de ce trio aussi incendiaire qu'hypnotique, difficile de ne pas perdre toute notion de temps et d'espace. Antilles nous convient à un voyage initiatique sans origine ni destination.
