I agree with you. But their respective voices are so different. In the way they have decided to "built" the song(singing one after the other, and then together), they are complementary (excuse my english, I'm a french bastard). As if their voices were instruments. The result is that we get here a wonderful moment of share. Because they are never alone with their part of the song, but always listening the others.

  • Ladies, I'm always yours.

    Stop in when you're here.

Good comment, in my view. MB has a wonderful full, open, throat and a loose jaw so that her sound has a lovely, natural vibrato - not at all a commercial,"manufactured" sound, so to speak. Very natural. That's not to dismiss EH at all, simply an observation: EH has a body of work that speaks for itself. We just don't get to see much of MB, at least I haven't, and it's always pleasing to sort of "discover" a talent new to oneself, as she is for me in this session.

  • Boy - when Emmy takes the last verse around 3:00, she just shows what a complete life singing she has led.

  • there is no one on this Gods green earth that can harmonize like Emmy . I would love for her to sing some of the songs I wrote. God Bless you Emmy and one day maybe our paths will meet.

  • Mary is so humble. Maybe taken advantage of . She's the best on this. I love you Mary.

  • beautiful and excellent musicianship. The intimacy of this is so special.

  • , KEY OF D. easy basic chord changes. Jump in any time. Plunk along. COMPASSIONTE HINT: Turn your volume up to max so you won't have to hear the sound of your own vocal

  • Très, très bel arrangement vocaux comme instrumentales ! ! MERCI

  • Lovely, just lovely! Perfection would have included Iris Dement.....WOW!! I stand in awe of these ladies.....especially when they sing of my "adopted home"! My BEAUTIFUL adopted home! Love you West Virginia~ALWAYS!
