@miarocks - Actually, in the Bible they play the lyre (kithara) as do the resurrected saints. Different sound altogether, suitable for accompanying vocal music in the antique style. :) And as you undoubtedly know, the old Irish wire-strung harps sound altogether different too. That said - this is one terrific example of the art and if it provokes you to start learning how to play the neo-Celtic harp, go for it. Once I took it up (after starting with the lyre!), I never looked back.

OMG, SOOOOO beautiful! Is there any better sound in this world? Makes me wanna learn how to play, like RIGHT NOW! There's a reason why angels don't play flutes or violins, they play the HARP! Bless you for posting. If ever I'm in NO, I'll be sure and stop by your pub :D

Unfortunately this Pub is closed, I was the manager of this place and booked this guy, along with some other awesome irish bands, but Sean Kelly was a swindler, and a thief and it caught up to him. No more Sean Kelly's, but all this stuff is now at the Kerry Irish Pub on Decatur st.now.

@irishmike1975 Hey Irishmike, I can understand Sean Kelly is a swindler. I never got paid for shooting this video as I was promised. I spent a hundred+ hours editing this video for him and he never paid me. I should have known he was a weasel. What about the guys he was in business with? Just wondering.

@videoguysimster sry my last reply didnt post. Seans partner Teddy is ill and moved back to NY where he was originally from. Sean still has a Deli on Royal st. Its sad, the guy has a ton of money, but doesnt pay his debts. He still owesme around $5000 to this day. Sorry you were another person he screwed, but I guess we just chalkit up to a lesson learned.
