So I pulled out the camera and tripod when I went on the dry waste run with my favourite Doyles truck. I recorded a number of light commercial jobs during a Monday on one of my summer holidays around Manly and in the local area. I have another couple of compilations like this one with a better variety of jobs which you may like to check out. I hope you guys enjoy the footage, all ratings and comments are appreciated.

Body Make: MacDonald Johnston
Model: 19m JP5
Chassis: Iveco Acco
Contractor: Doyle Bros
Collection Type: Dry Commercial Waste

  • So did he drive you around to all those different stops?

  • You betya.

  • Excellent work Mitch, the driver must really appreaciate the help when he has a lot of stops with waste that sometimes needs to be hand loaded and the heavy bins need to be wheeled out to the truck. How many bins/stops can this truck hold?

  • Thanks, yer always nice to have some help on a busy day. Too hard to know how many bins/stops this truck holds - all comes down to the type of materials getting loaded and how many of each of the types of bins are collected (with Doyles it can be anything from hand loading to 3m's).

  • Waste of time

  • O nice

  • That video is awesome! Thanks! Can't wait to see how you improve on it!

  • I just took a quick look through my past videos and I found one that has a lot of operator POV / lifter close-ups in it. Search for a video titled "Getting Full" which runs for 7:40. In the first clip you get ann idea of how the clamping system works, then if you go to 4:50 you get a better view. I'll still get a video for you soon focusing on the lifter.

  • Yes that would work great! I'd like to see the lifter as it grabs the bin too... because i know there's a piece that locks the bin to the lifter... but I've never seen it locking onto the bin. Thanks!

  • Sounds great. I'll try and grab a video of the lifter of how it works - guess an operator POV will do the trick??
