Whole film available at http://www.dayfilm.com/Goddess - Inspiring 40 minute movie of live Goddess event in the Isle of Avalon. The film is available from my website and also at the Glastonbury Goddess Temple. It was shot in hi-def.
@BioBoosterSoldier Pagan is a word that was slapped on many cult practices that are not single male god religions long ago. Technically Egyptians were pagans too. Whatever your desires are, there is a cult or religion for them. It is best to follow where love leads.
i always thought that goddess worshipers performed deflowerization of virgins or sexual ritual and stuffs like that. guess its just another disappointing religion, at least it has good music and nice costume huh?
Oh I agree - so do I! I'm not denying that Avalon never existed - like I said, it's thought to actually have been a place in Wales. But because so many people believe it to be Glastonbury, Glastonbury has taken on a magic all by itself, and has become the embodiment of our belief of Avalon. It's a bit like all those 'pieces of the Cross' - because people believe in them, they take on their own energy.
Well i actually believe that Avalon did exist.. they cant prove it DIDNT exist there so therefore it is still possible. And Jesus was around when there were written records, but there is no record of him =)
Avalon exists in our hearts and souls. I don't think it matters wether or not it was or is Avalon, just as the stable where Jesus was said to have been born is contested. Glastonbury has become the focus for our belief - it is the Avalon in our souls made real.
The thing is that Jesus existed really prior to written records. You would have expected that the monks, who were one of the few groups of people skilled in reading and writing, and who produced records of everything, would have made made a record of such a huge discovery. Arthur was thought to be Christian king by that time, not pagan, so it would have been a huge boost to the church. Whether or not it is the burial place of Arthur, as I originally said - (tbc)
Elfdaughter, yes that makes you wonder, but you know, there werent any mention of Jesus in the history books either yet people still blatantly claim he existed... I guess faith plays a big part. The energy of the place is one form of proof.
something like: HIC SEPVLTVS IACIT ARTVRIVS, not (as was found) HIC IACET SEPVLTVS INCLITUS REX ARTVRIVS IN INSULA AVALONIA. An alternate theory has been proposed that the grave was originally discovered in 945 A.D. At this time the original stone marker would have been removed, and the lead cross fashioned and placed inside the coffin. The whole was then covered over and forgotten. However, such a discovery would certainly have been recorded, and as I said - no such records exist.
Not DNA, but by other means. Let's see - before 1184, there were no reportings of the grave anywhere. Given how prominent it is, it makes you wonder why there were no prior records. Secondly, the writing on the cross that was found between the bodies - the letter forms could be dated back to no earlier than the C10th. Arthur's usually ascribed to the 6th century, so would have had his grave marked by a stone bearing Roman capitals. Therefore, his inscription would have been (tbc)
