The film was left off the Oscars, BAFTA's and the coveted Palm D'or short-lists. The adaptation was too far ahead of its time, as the movie ages the credits will start to roll in. It has been described by many as 'fun, gripping and a great laugh for all', it was even described as 'sensual' by one star of the film.
