@maelindatigger1 i seen the movie when it first came out.he was bomb in the movie,great story line,he played a drinken musician who went home before he died and he was dying of lung cancer.he picked up his nephew to drive & a girl hitch hiking west to LA.a music company found out he was dying,loved his music and bought all the songs he could sing for the cost of burial.touching end.i recommend seeing the movie.

It was made in 1982 for the film "Honkytonk Man" where Eastwood plays the role of Red Stovall. In this movie Clint sings also 2 other songs: "Honkytonk Man" and "No sweeter cheater than you".
