Aymara and Quechua Indians make up the majority of Bolivia's population.

But it was not until two and a half years ago that an Aymara Indian, Evo Morales, was sworn in as the country's president.

Despite that historic event, the nation's indigenous peoples continue to face serious obstacles to equality, as Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports.

  • @giltedged1 well would you prefer fox news and other jewish run media who basicaly own 90% of world media

  • @MestizoNationPride There was a very famous Native American that wanted to do that RIGHT when the first settler came onto the shores. And nobody listened...

  • This is the legacy of colonialism.

  • @JavierGarcon

Yeah I've tried telling people this stuff but people don't understand.I wouldn't be surprised if the "whites and mestizos" protesting were memebers of stormfront and other racist sites/organizations.White nationalism/supremacy is growing in latin america.Frankly, these sons of bitches need to take their asses back to Europe where it belongs if they hate indigenous people.I won't tolerate their lying racist BS and will knock their fucking teeth out if I come accros them.

  • OK THIS IS REALLY WIERD YOUTUBE WONT LET ME PASTE THE LINK AND NO WHERE ON YOUTUBE SHOWS THE PLANES IN ANY VIDEO! JUST DO A SEARCH ON GOOGLE IMAGES

"Bolivia Santa Cruz" I found at least one Nazi Plane in the main page

  • Do a search for Nazi SS in Santa Cruz Bolivia and look at the town square photos. they have over 25 Nazi German Planes on display in town squares celebrating the Germans arrival and their economic boom there after

  • Do any of you know the history of Bolivia? After World War II All the top Nazi Leaders moved to Bolivia it wasnt until 30 to 50 years later is when people found out they moved their so imagine 50 years of Nazi rule in Bolivia? Of course they didnt do the same thing as they did in Gemany but they did take up economic power like form banks and created manufacturing companies and they and their White families become the White upper Class.

  • @eight18 And indeed his words give me the reason. While you think about yourself that you are a tribe fighting against the world. We feel part of the world. LOL

  • @eight18 I said what I said, because You believe that Bolivia is a nation of Indians only. In Peru we know we are a nation of mixed ethnic origins. So, we are more advanced than Bolivia. Internal racism in Bolivia is' very big and stupid. You just need to watch videos of fights between Santa Cruz (Cambas) and La Paz (Collas), to realize how stupid they can be.

  • @jrevoredoi lol peru didnt do shit for a long time and even elected a japanese dictator, what a joke, bolivians were the first to fight and win a multinational company and the first to elect a REAL native american president, bolivia also headstarted the native american independence movement and host the mother earth world summit, bolivias in the forefront of a lot things, while peru does nothing but sign free trade deals with the usa
