IR Welding

Our quality mechanical and electrical engineering staff in our Fixture & Gage Division utilized the innovative Infrared (IR) technology to manufacture this IR Welder. Advantages of IR Welding versus traditional hot plate welding consist of reduced power consumption, warm-up time, cycle time, non-contact, flexibility and welding flash.

Quite often, if a product can be hot plate welded it can be IR welded. As a machine builder, FPM's Fixture & Gage Division will test and analyze whether a produce can be IR welded or not.
