Prince August manufactures Toy Soldier moulds, but once you made the figures you may need to assemble them. This guide covers soldering using small soldering equipment easily available in a hardware store. More important is the type of solder you should use. Use 63% tin and 37% lead mix. The figure is made of lead and tin mix too. The Napoleonic Artilleryman (PA80-12) is part of 3 figures that can be cast from the mould set available on http://www.princeaugust.ie. See our other videos on casting and painting miniatures. Remember to subscribe to our channel so you never miss out on future video guides.
He's soldering wrong. It's not hot glue it's molten metal. He needs to be heating the other side of the joint and letting the wire melt on the opposing end. Otherwise the solder won't adhere properly.
@forestsandman The low melting point of the solder allows our method to work. the soldier itself is made of a low melting point metal too, so heating it excessively would result in damage to the figure, that is why your method is not suitable.
