This is a short video of a pilot making his first ever take off in our demo Stratus/ATF. There is practically no wind and he weighs about 13.5 stone. And his foot seems to slip off the throttle at the beginning!

  • was there a head wind and at what altitude were you? Im a 4500 ft and my take offs are much longer at about 5700rpm. thanks

  • There was a very light head wind - about 3 - 5 mph. Our height above sea level is only 600 feet, so I guess that is the difference. Cheers, Simon.
