"UN to provide 40,000 jobs to conflict-impacted youth" Latest Sinhala News.14.06.2010

The United Nations mediates in granting job opportunities for 40 thousand young men and women impacted by the war.

The programme launched by the Government to improve the standards of the war effected persons has earned acclamation from the United States. Accordingly, agreement has been reached to provide them maximum support.
The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation is mediating in this task. The UN Agency said they have crafted plans to find jobs to young men and women of the North by launching small and medium scale enterprises with the application of new technology.
