@Autopsium there is a fucking gigantic gap in terms of musical ability/creativity/innovativen­ess, web streams? assuming you mean the tracks on their fb page. The album is better looked at as one piece as its fucking amazing in its entirety, definitely download. no filler whatsoever. Fuck people just listening to singles tbh, so many bands with loads of filler material these days

Just a quick note, I've listened to EOTE on the web through streams. Just don't get a wrong impression as if I'm doing a prejudice. and i really enjoyed the energy of the album "Conclusion of an Age" more than most of the Trivium albums but I don't quickly see a guitarist like a god of music by judging him with a little work. It takes more than this.

I just wanted to express my idea about having a wider selection of quality bands by saying I'm a 17 years metal music listener.

Go and have your "whose dick is bigger" kind of debate with others. I really don't enjoy this.

And yes I don't own EOTE, if i need so i'll do so.

Within that 17 years, listening to most of the bands out there from thrash to black to death to US to European I learned not to be puritanical about metal music as the 15-16 years old kiddies do so.

Look at The Black Dahlia Murder... Those guys when they were introduced earlier, looked like "nerds" but, man, they really do what they're expected to do.

There are tons of examples like this and I would hate it if I have seen there someone playing Death, wearing a Death t-shirt but acting like a noob or a pop star.

First of all, this is a matter of taste. Trivium/Matt Heafy stands in the same spot with Josh for me. None is much better than the other concerning the originality when I think of Death/Chuck Schuldiner. Even, Trivium is better than Sylosis about this. Look at the Shogun album. Sylosis is a good band but nothing new really.

Naming him as one of the best musicians of all time is a bit assertive.

I'm not a die-hard fan of Trivium but there isn't really a big gap between those 2 bands.

@Autopsium "whats wrong with that?" Nothing in this case because Josh Middleton is an absolute fucking revolutionary guitarists that's earned himself an immediate place in metal history as one of the best musicians of all time, just like Schuldiner.
