@thaolinh362 In VN, you don't pay 3,000.00/mo for an apartment. In NY, $500,000US buy you an "apartment" with two rooms: kitchen/bed and bathroom, two rooms. In NY, you can expect to earn 100,000/yr and still can't afford an apartment. In VN, you earn 50,000/yr and you're rich.

@thaolinh362 what $1! that is so expensive. I brought the best Banh Mi which costed only 5000 VND ~ 25 cents. I live in Melkong Delta. maybe $1 because you're foreigner.

what is this "only in nyc" bs? there were sandwich shops in a lot of the convenience stores in the SF Tenderloin back in the 80s. yeah, they had vhs tapes in those shops too. no big deal. you're 20 years late to be cool.

Hah, Banh Mi costs 4 dollars in NY, in VN it cost only 1 dollar
