Piedmont Singers were the visiting choir at the Canterbury Cathedral in England from August 4 through 10, 2009. This anthem, Ave Verum, was composed by William Byrd and sung during the Evensong Service on August 6 in the Quire. Guest conductor Jim Harmon.

  • The worse singing ever heard. Terrible tuning and vibrato not wanted! Quality wanted for the face of the Lord!

  • @stmickeycl It's just that we are hearing the actual sound followed by reverb, feedback and echo all within miliseconds.....but I agree, sounds really distorted!

  • Are they from the eponymous Northern province of Italy?
