Kirk/Spock - Sometimes love just ain't enough (slash)

Another video showing the love, loss, pain and despair between Kirk and Spock through the ages. A video to show the joy and pain love always brings. And yes, it's a slash video because in MY universe Kirk and Spock belong together.

Oops.. 2:13, the clip goes on a bit too long. You can tell it's McCoy when he turns his head, very clear shot of the ear and a less clear one of the side of his face, both of which are very unspock-like.

The song really does suit them tragically well. xD 'course the use of clips from TWoK and TSfS at the end, even in reverse order, sort of carries the implication that sometimes love can be enough. ^^

See, I only comment on "slash" videos that I can interpret as brotherly love. If they are full of fanart or are blindingly slashy, I just move on and ignore it. :)

@StoneKnivesBearskins I see your point. I think it's actually kind of awesome that you can appreciate someone's hardwork, although you don't agree with the connotations. I believe that the Kirk and Spock pairing is one left widely to interpretation. While I like watching these videos and reading some slash fic, I still adore the novels where they're just really good friends. Also, I'm glad your intention is not to insult, but to clarify, and therefore, I respect you for that.

@MFLuder77 I do that mostly so that people won't accuse me of liking K/S slash. I also feel it adds a compliment to the vidder that their vid appeals to some people who they hadn't directed it too.

I'm certainly not trying to insult people, I just want to make sure people don't get the wrong impression from what I'm commenting.

No, I'm not going to be mean or shove slash ideas down your throat; I'm genuinely curious why you have posted "I hate slash" on several Kirk/Spock videos. I am an X-Phile, and there are some people who ship Mulder/Krycek. While I do not agree with this slash pairing because I'm Mulder/Scully all the way, I don't go their videos and say "I hate this pairing" or "Mulder is not gay!" Thus, why do you do so with K/S, posting "I HATE slash."?
