My next bass is a Mocha '78 like yours. Currently using a '78 SB. Nice tone and presentation.

hey I've been looking for a new brand of rounds to put on my jazz and p bass. I'm looking for a warmer sounding roundwound string, still retaining round characteristics but without the nasty high end. Is this DR sunbeams or should I keep looking?
thanks and nice vid btw : D

I like the DR Sunbeams. They are nickel roundwounds, which make them smoother to the touch and easier on fretboards, with a good life-span. They have great warm tone and a deep low end. The high string is 45 gauge, which shouldn't be too high-end sounding, I prefer them over same gauge steel roundwounds like Rotosounds.

you can't go wrong with a vintage P Bass, and the bridge really made a difference. I'd like to upgrade the pickups next.
