Rux's approach to neo-blues has a preacher-like zeal in its delivery, as the swirling fog of gravity defying music builds around a calm nexus of Rux's spoken word, like a less splenetic Saul Williams. Rux certainly understands the gravitas his delivery brings; every lexical item arrives in a considered and dignified fashion, making his scathing social commentaries seem far more welcoming than an angry tirade would, without resorting to cheap tricks and sloganeering.
