Your examples make sooooo much sense and I never thought about it this way. It's amazing the b.s. we believe and hold on to with our lives. I mean, some of the stuff in religious writings is so far-fetched, even Dr. Suess couldn't make it up. That we believe fiction and devout so much energy into it but disbelieve things that are based in fact is astonishing.
