They obviously got the idea for this from The Adventures of Pecos Bill, except that on that show the cyclone takes the shape of a demented bull. Hey, if they went all the way with that, H-B would've been sued by Walt Disney for plagerism.
See, back in our day, Hanna-Barbera and Filmation used to do it right, and "in-house". Now, with most US animation being "farmed out" to Korea, it just sucks. They should put the whole series (with ALL the 'bells and whistles' included) on DVD. Until then, I LOVE these uploads. Hey, it's Americana--no matter what anyone says. Hanna-Barbera were real GODS.

This bumper was seen between the intro and the first "Impossibles" cartoon in the original "Frankenstin Jr. & The Impossibles" cartoon show.
