Creationists use this to show that matter in an organized state breaks down over time, ignoring the fact that this is the case in a closed system, such as is the case with the universe as a whole. The earth is not a closed system with energy constantly being fed onto it by the sun. The creationist argument of the 2nd law of thermodynamics against evolution is idiotic and a non-sequitar.

Perhaps you should read up a bit about quantum physics and see how scientists can show how something can come from nothing. Also, the "Law of Thermodynamics" creationists refer to in an effort to disprove evolution to is the 2nd law of Thermodynamics, and since you don't know that it shows how ignorant you are when it comes to physics. The 2nd law of the entropy of an isolated system never decreases, because isolated systems evolve towards thermodynamic equilibrium, or a state of maximum entropy
