The idea behind the Rutgers Formula Racing club is simple -- it's the execution that's complex. Each year, undergrads in the club design and build a racing car from scratch, then race it against other colleges on the national Formula SAE circuit. Along the way, there are brilliant ideas that fail, inventive solutions, and countless all-nighters in the club's garage on the university's Piscataway campus. This year, for the first time in 20 years, the car was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. (Video by Nyier Abdou/The Star-Ledger)
