Get 6 iron ignots to make an iron door. Pace the door where you want the water to escape (Amazingly, doors prevent water from entering o_o)
Make a lever and connect it to the door with redstone wire. Do that by right clicking the brick the lever is on, and keep doing that until your reach the door.
Go to the top and add water BEHIND the door.
When you pull the lever, the door should open and let the water out. BOOM! Obsidian!
