Who cares if someone is gay? So a man loves another man. Big deal! The love between two people is sacred and pure. If they truly love and care for one another, then thats all that should matter. They should be allowed to marry like any other couple AND they don't deserve they bigotry thats thrown at them.

Funny how I, an atheist, am more Christ-like than you, a Christian.

@GoddessOfCats Religion and Jesus are not always connected. Jesus never condoned killing, or wars for that matter. Yes wars have been committed in the name of Christianity, however that is not a true reflection on Christs teachings. Anyway, why should anybody be part of Atheism when that is responsible for the murders of the French Revolution, Stalinist Russia and Abortion?

@MrEnlighteneddespot (cont.)...i didn't at any time state that i believed in them, and if you look down a couple comments, you'll find i said that i don't believe in the christian god, or any deity for that matter. Also could you actually give any scientific proof of anything you claim? The way you may 'feel' that Jesus is giving you strength is simple placebo affect, you believe in something hard enough you may get a short term reaction, doesnt make it jesus, its just chemicals in your body.

Rowling wrote an incredible book, her's must be fact aswell, that theory is simply ridiculous, what about The Odyssey or The Illiad, both epic novels of grand scale including real life locations, and people, but we don't believe that to be fact. Yes and many others 'feel' ademently that aliens have replaced their friends and family, but we know thats not true either. I used those christian teachings to show you the contradictions of your bible...(cont.)

@MidgetHumper93 There is no way the Lord's prophets would have been capable of writing such an incredible book without connection with the one true God. The world we live in would not be here if it was not for God. But you want to know how I know God does exist? I believe Jesus came to me and I have felt his presence guiding me and giving me strength when I've called for him. Your a bit hypercritical using Christian teachings as your argument then switching to the 'there is no God' lie.
