this commercial would be completely justified if they left out the "problems with 98" or "problems with xp" those os's fucking owned. its windows ME and windows vista that sucked,
mac is shitting in the pants or they wouldnt be making these anti windows 7 commercials...hey i like mac too but i use windows for everyday use ....mac is for specify programs like graphic artist or djs or just stupid people that dont know how to use windows.
I say it is a monopoly because nearly everyone uses it, without even a hint that there just might be better options out there. It is the worst browser, yet most popular? There was a time (Windows 95-eara) where Microsoft threatened a PC manufacture that they would stop licensing Windows to them if they preinstall Netscape. I'm pretty sure MS got the original IE engine from netscape, though not entirely sure. Internet Explorer is, infact a monopoly, and Microsoft must be split in 2.
You're avoiding your original point and changing the subject.
In any case, all of the browsers that want to "compete" with Microsoft are free or open source. They're not products, and shouldn't be protected as such.
If someone wants to sell and advertise for a browser, cool, good for them. But a bunch of people bitching about how nobody's using their free apps doesn't justify crap.
The end user is perfectly free to install any browser they want. It's not Microsoft's fault they don't.
@BarricadeSlade IE only has about a 60% market share, Firefox has about 25% and other browsers like chrome are also growing in popularity, the days of calling Microsoft a monopoly are over
A friend of mine asked if he could borrow my PowerBook G4 for the weekend, i said "Sure, why not?" He opened it, and just stared at the dock like "wtf" and nearly had a panic attack cause he couldn't find "the internet" I couldn't stope laughing when he called me and said "Where's the internet" I said "In a series of tubes" he said "DUDE I CAN'T FIND THE BLUE E!!!" I said "Not on the Mac, click the blue compass, goodnight" as it was morning
lol when i first used one i was wtf, where the blue e!!! then i realize its a campus, the same thing when sometimes your start up a computer and it says press "any" key lol
