If for no other reason, Gordon Sharp has to be admired for his single mindedness. He does exactly what he wants to do and makes no compromises or apologies. I'm sure Scott Walker would approve.

Cindytalk is definitely 'Toby' :)
... some of the wierdest and most fascinating music unlike anything on the planet. Sharp's vocals are superb. Neither man nor a woman - his vocal appearance is beyond description - deep, edgy, intense, beautiful.

I just love this band, and used to own a few CDs back in early 90s. Cindytalk is one of the greatest bands ever. Reminds me of early 70s psychedelic music underground on KAAY Beaker Street with Clyde Clifford.

I just received a copy of the latest, The Crackle of My Soul (out 11/10/09). I'm normally suspicious of this genre, but this stuff grabbed me by the cajones and never let go. Way more interesting than this clip.
