  • Hi Paul,

I have a fingering guide for all major and pentatonic scales at the back of my "Pop Piano Book". Thanks for your comments, and good luck with your studies!

    Best,

  • cool clip .. nice one.. thanks for sharing .. keep it up

  • I play gospel piano, however, this was very beneficial. thanks for sharing :)

  • I'm trying to play a song that is in pop-rock style, and I think your lesson is wonderful ;))

  • good teacher

  • I've just received my bunch of books and CDs here in Australia - I must say I am impressed at how rapidly I received it after placing the order! I'm really looking forward to learning from these books. I have just recently tried a video-centric product and as a classically trained pianist (albeit not a very good one!) I think books will be more effective. (will accompany with lessons if/when time permits)

    Greg.

  • most definitely wil buy that book!!!

  • Thankyou,I found the pentatonic scale fingerings on page 497. The book is such a monster I must have missed them. No,I love the book, it's got loads of great information on popular styles and harmony. One of my favourite styles is the Rock Blues Style. I love the Rock Blues Piece at the end of your Blues Piano book.

  • Would you please consider doing a video on good fingerings for scales. I have trouble working out some fingerings. For example, which fingers would I use to play a B Maj Pentatonic scale,as most teachers tell you not to use the thumb on black notes, but I cannot see how you can play that scale without using the thumb. Any input would be appreciated.

  • I like your videos, I have the pop piano book and your style books and think they're great and very thorough. They help give a grounding in popular styles.
