My look into Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii

Just giving you a look into Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party for the Nintendo Wii.

What the game play features are, what the song list is, what my thoughts are about it in general. All in all, a good DDR game that uses the wiimote to add hand movements to the DDR experience.

Note: Other gimmicks not shown are a freeze arrow that you have to step on twice, a random arrow that moves all around the board until it's close to the end. And also an arrow that's encased in a silver orb that if you miss them, half of your screen gets blocked out so you only have a short time to react to the arrows that are moving up.

I really like this game. I own it, and it's pretty fun, especially when you get to the more difficult songs. Although I prefer to play without the hand markers.

See, that's what a lot of people are saying in these comments, that it's better without the hand markers. For me, that's what separates it from other DDR games as it needs those to have something extra on the wii console. But I can understand that people are used to playing it that way.

No matter how hard I try for the Wii, I can't do the hand markers. How exactly am I supposed to do them?

i dont know about this game, but if you ask me "brandon, what is the best ddr you could play on your wii," my anwser would be "ddr Mario Mix for gamecube," i so could believe my eye when this game came out and i had to get it.

the songs in its has cool techno and salsa versions of mario themes, not really for the super advanced players though, but bowsers song is really had and he gotz some moovz!

For casual players, I'm sure this game will please, but I was so disappointed by it's weak music selection coupled with the fact that they were low quality covers!

If you guys have other game consoles, skip the Wii DDR games. They're pale in comparison to the other titles out there.
