Singing Bus

Manchester buses... not something you'd normally associate with public outbursts of joyous singing. Well, not in our district anyway - more like grumpy drivers, people sneezing on the back of your head and putting your hand in some gooey spit on the chair.

But not this bus! A cold Sunday night and me and my partner are waiting for a bus, having just missed one. We jump on the next one and after a moment of confusion, realise those beautiful harmonies are coming from the lower deck! What's this? A public Manchester bus full of singing and clapping people?

I am not religious but I am a sucker for great singing... One of the best bus journey's I've ever had (and I've had some good ones).

Mind you, the driver was still a grumpy git.
